My name is Shana. I'm a self-taught graphic designer who loves a good party! Any party really, his party, her party, your party. I'm not picky! My husband Jim and I live in Sunny California with our three super cute kiddos, Hailey, Mya and Jake. I'm a lover of all things crafty and will try any DIY project at least once. Currently on the to-do list is planting a garden, becoming an expert seamstress, photographer, hostess and interior designer all while keeping the house clean and getting dinner on the table by 5 !
I started Belva June the blog as a creative outlet and a place for me to share some of my projects. The name "Belva June" holds special meaning to me because it is my grand mother's name. Nana, as I know her, shared with me her passion for home making, gardening, cooking, and home decor. It was by her that I learned how to properly set a table, how to plant flowers in a garden, and that you NEVER put your elbows on the table! I like to think that we are partners in creating this blog. I bring the modern and she inspires the vintage.
